Almond Milk

less than 10 minutes  Serves 4


1 cup of organic whole almonds

4 cups pure filtered water

1/3 teaspoon vanilla bean powder

1 tablespoon of honey or 1/4 teaspoon stevia (optional)


Drain well the water from the almonds that remained soaked. Mix the almonds with filtered pure water in a blender. Strain into a fine cloth. Add the vanilla and mix. Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

* Soaked the almonds overnight in water with a pinch of sea salt (this step reduces the level of phytates).
